Sunset Motel

You get what you pay for. The price was good for a place to sleep close to the board walk. Our room was clean and no bugs anywhere. The beds are stiff and pillows are flat. The whole place could use a little updating. If they put some minor work in, it could have way more potential. But like I said it's a place to sleep that was clean which is hard to find in seaside based on all the other reviews I've read. The staff was nice and available 24/7 with a phone number. Free parking for one car was also a plus.

My 4 friends and i had a time to say the least! There was an Odor but over time you get used to it. Though the couch had multiple mysteries stains and had a lot of sand. I couldn’t ask for a better place to enjoy my cold iced beatbox and play twister. Thank u to the lovely neighbors. Three Seventeen forever!!!!

Very clean motel and is very close to the middle of the beach and the boardwalk. It was very nice having a large fridge and a stove and oven in the room. Beach passes where also provided for the stay. For the money this place was more than what I expected. However, there where a few things that I guess some quest could be unhappy about. To us though, it wasn’t a big deal. Things that could improve: Mattresses!!!! They are worst than college dorm mattresses. Rooms are not dark, even at night time. Due to lights in the parking lot and lack of curtains. No maid service. And haven’t seen someone in the office for the past few days to get clean towels. None of there things impacted my stay too much and I would recommend this place to anyone. I think it is a great value for the price.

The beds are very hard the first room tv had a line in it and ac didn't work second room the vol don't work for the TV the fridge isn't really cold and it could of been cleaner the staff was great and helpful the outside the hotel looked really nice as well I would say they need a update

We stayed here this past weekend in the room that sleeps 6. We enjoyed our stay the staff was very nice and answered any questions that we had. The staff went out of there way to clean up a broken bottle in the road. We liked having the full refrigerator compared to a mini fridge. Pros Friendly staff Close to the beach Clean rooms Great value Cons Parking they have 19 rooms and 14 spots but the staff will have you double park which I didn't mind The pillows could be more fluffy and the mattress could be more comfortable but I didn't have a problem Overall for what you pay this place is great its clean great staff highly recommend and I plan on staying here again

Amazing visit, our room way ready on time and the staff were super accommodating. The manager exceeded our expectations and made sure we always had everything we needed for our stay even while being understaffed. Would highly recommend and we will return. Thank you for a great stay.

2 years ago my boyfriend and I were searching for a place to stay for just two nights when our other hotel canceled on us. We called up the owners late at night and they were so helpful and saved us from disaster. For two broke college students this place is perfect. We’ve come back every summer since. By no means is it a 5 star hotel and although the rooms appear a bit outdated it gives you everything you need. We bring own supplies sometimes just to feel safe and prepared but for what you pay you get what’s necessary. Location and service are a 10/10. The owners are always available and are very kind.

I booked this hotel for a guys vacation to seaside... upon arrival it looks ok it's a 2 minute walk to the boardwalk and from all the essentials. The staff was available around the clock to meet our every need. All around great people to have to deal with. had a nice conversation with the manager very personable and stand up guy as well as his wife is very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean we moved rooms because we added people to the reservation but rooms were clean bug free and all amenities worked(hot water, stove, full size refrigerator & a/c. I've stayed here 3 times now and never saw a bug, mold or had any problems with the staff or rooms anytime I've been there. I would recommend for anyone that wants to be close to the beach and not pay an arm and a leg. Good price good quality all around
